Lee Walton – Life Theatre/Hot Dogs

check out Lee’s new project in Cincinnati

This is from Lee’s website:

By infusing actors into public space to perform everyday mundane activities, Life/Theater projects blur the line between what is real and what is not real.

For this new project, a spectacular “Life/Theater Hot Dogs” storefront grill was created. Free hot dogs were grilled on-site and given to the public for designated periods of time. Through text descriptions that have been stamped on the hot dog wrappers, the public became aware of the Life/Theater performances happening around.

This project was supported by and in collaboration with the Contemporary Art CenterArtworks, and the people of Cincinnati.

Curated by Steven Matijcio, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. This project was part of the exhibition “Buildering, Misbehaving the City.”
